Jesus Christ gave so we equip God's people and build up the body of Christ. The scripture is Ephesians 4: 8 - 16

The NIV Holy Bible version of the scripture says:
He (Jesus Christ) who descended, is the very one who ascended; higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.
It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,
To prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.
Paul, a bondservant of Christ spoke this to the Ephesians.
Are you preparing God's people for works of service? Are you building the body of Christ up?
Wazi kanjani? How do you know? What do you perceive or understand from the above scripture?
Being given differently and accordingly means that collaboration must happen at some points. Where the parts work together as intended by Christ. How then can this be realised when you refuse to turn?
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him. - Prophet Isaiah
There is much to gain in humbling yourself, turning from thinking and being wicked.
When will you stop thinking of self more highly than you ought to?
We are given to equip and edify
Until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ.
From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
What is your part? Are you doing your part?
Do your part. That which makes the body to grow.
When will you acknowledge the impact of the schemes and deceit to the working and growth of the whole body? And stop. And turn.
These are God's people. The body of Christ. You too are a member of that body.
There are works of service to be done here.
It's not about you alone...
Love yourself enough to refuse lies and false perceptions of equipping, building up and progress. Start with where you are.
Lord God Almighty.
Search my heart and mind.
What I do, say and think.
Remove all hinderances from playing my part in the equipping of your people and building up of the body.
Help me to speak the truth.
Then grow into speaking the truth in love.
Lord Jesus, You gave me to add to the body's growth. Not take away. To build and not destroy.
Wash me of all bondages to evil.
Fill me with Your Truth Lord Jesus.
I long to add to the growth of Your body.
Start in me.
I am that body.
Every place I am a member,
Let me do the roles
As works of service.
To You Lord God.
For Your people.
For Your body.
In Me. My Home.
My Clan And Bloodlines.
Community And Workplace.
My Church.
My City And Nation.

Right now.
Jesus Christ died and rose to life. He has been given all authority in Heaven and on earth.
I was made to speak the truth in love.
I am equipped for the works of service.
As the Lord God Almighty intended and Jesus Christ gave me.
