Some time ago, I watched "Funny Babies with Their Grandpa - Funny Family Baby Video" on YouTube.
Honestly, the video is lovely to watch and got me considering human reactions to little ones and dogs.
What makes us humans to naturally respond with such goodness towards babies and dogs.
Is it because babies and dogs don't talk back in understandable words? Thus nullifying any possibility of offense? 😂...
Is it the dependency and vulnerability of babies and dogs that call for endearing handling from humans? What is it really and when does it change? What causes it to change when it comes to treating others?
One thing for sure is that there is joy and peace in extending kindness and goodness for both the giver and receiver. There is edification in the authenticity and genuineness of hearts being opened to engaging in truth and love.
What then makes people to opt for the opposite? What really are the incentives for hatred, injustice or unjustified evil. Is it some ill rooted satisfaction; and for how long does that last? 🤔
What or who governs your emotions and levels of affection?
Is how you treat or relate to others a reflection of your inner perceptions of them? In what spirit are those perceptions rooted?
How do you define your Relational Quotient? Do you even have one? What or who is your denominator? Is there a baseline, categories or just nothing? Is it wherever the wind blows or conscious efforts? How does your yardstick look?
For who knows a person's thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words - 1 Cor 2 :11-13
Is Relational Quotient even a thing? 🤷♀️. If there are Intelligence and Emotional Quotients, then why not?
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. - Rom 8:13
