In the book of Romans chapter 8, we are taught the following:
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.
We learn the Word and because it is Spirit, it does something in us. Even before any practical application. As we live, day by day, life happens. It's when we look back that we see the hand of God in practicality in our lives. Well, one of the ways.
We often quote the famous line of
"We are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
Him being Christ.
Today, I had a moment of the Word of God being revealed through past experience.
There was a time where I saw and experienced "trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?"
It was hard. And exhausting.
So, I have been and continue learning that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Jesus held our hands through it all. Somehow. Through the process. Through its ugliness. Through the pains. Through the wickedness.
Did not God say that in ALL THINGS God works for the good of those who love Him, and who have been called according to His purpose?
So, If it is a thing, it works for OUR good. God makes it to work for our good.
For who? For me. For my house. Because we do love God and we are the called according to His purpose.
Not once were we outside of or separate from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. Even when for MONTHS, actually for YEARS, over and over and over and over and still even today; there was constant prodding of unGodliness.
However, God foreknew us. He also predestined us to be conformed to the image of His Son, So, it is further written those that God predestined, He also called; and those He called, He also justified; Those He justified, He also glorified.
Father I thank You
Thank You that you kept us through every trial, every persecution and all wickedness.
I bless You Lord God Almighty that when You were for us,
No one could be against us.
Hard as it was
Painful as it was
Long as it was
Shamefull as it was
I bless you Lord God Almighty
For simply loving us enough.
You surely did
And You surely do.
Your never even spared Your own Son.
But gave him up for us all
For all of us.
So thank You for Jesus Christ
Thank You that we had Jesus Christ all along
To hold us when those we loved abandoned us
To shield us from every plot and evil word
Thank You Jesus for being there when there was no one in sight
Or in our corner
I glorify You for every lie
Every false accusation
Every misdirection
Every wrong advise
Every finger pointed
For every betrayal
Every falsehood
And every condemnation
Because You made it all to work together
For our good
In Your own way
Your thoughts surely are higher
And Your ways
Not our ways
Thank You God.
Thank You that through all of those things,
Your arm still reached out for us.
You pulled us out
You saved us
And You upheld us.
You surely showed Yourself faithful to us
In the midst of it all
So, our blessed assurance is that;
Whatever things were used?
You made them to work for our good.
Whatever or whoever had a hand?
None could separate us from Your love.
None.
Whatever name they call themselves by
Your Name Jesus;
Remained the Name that is above all other names.
Whatever devices
Whatever things
Whatever tried to call itself king
Jesus remained the King of kings.
And Lord of lords.
Our stronger man
Our Heavenly Father
Wonderful counsellor and Prince of peace
Indeed the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses
We do not know what we ought to pray for
But in those days, the Holy Spirit himself interceded for us
Through wordless groans.
In Jesus' Name
Ngiyabonga Mnini mandla onke
Amen and amen
